When I first met Jess and Joel over a cup of coffee, I instantly knew we would be a terrific match. They are the kind of genuine people that put others before themselves. Jess is an artist, which is the greatest compliment that she chose me as their photographer, because of her creative eye. Joel is an educator, as cool and mild-mannered as can be. Their love is deep, and as you are about to see, their wedding day was a culmination of this wonderful relationship that they have with each other!
The details, oh the details! An antique heart pendant and flower girl dresses from Tutu du Monde. Jess had me at hello with these thoughtful and artistic details!
Meanwhile, back at the beautiful garden at Tohono Chul....
Darling little girls waiting for their big moment!
And now, the first glimpse of his bride...
The looming cloud cover threatened us with rain, but the ceremony began without a drop!
The way Joel looked at his bride, ohhhh this makes me love being the one to capture it!
Both families were so friendly and warm, it was evident that everyone was in a joyful mood!
While taking portraits, my goal was to allow these two lovebirds a quiet moment soaking in the love...
Jess spotted a desert rose and HAD to have a picture :)
An artist by trade, Jess made all of her signs
These french macarons are to die for. And those figurines! So very Tucson!
What's more romantic than a table for two in a garden lit by dusk? Let the kissing begin.... ;)
